Is Not Wearing Tights Considered Whorish?

Been pretty cold in NYC, so not sure why you wouldn't wear tights. Textured tights are always a sexy addition to an outfit. But He has heard numerous times that no wearing any tights at all especially during winter is considered trashy and whorish? Thoughts?
