Yesterday's reports that Courtney Love was contacted as a possible replacement for Paula Abdul on American Idol have been debunked. Love claimed she had been contacted by Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe about the gig last week. "He called," Love said. "He was wondering if I was interested. Lawsuit filed against Brandy in accident case

A $50 million wrongful death lawsuit has been filed against Brandy by the parents of a woman killed in a car accident involving the talent show host. The suit alleges Brandy "was driving recklessly" when she rear-ended a car on an LA freeway which caused a chain reaction that ultimately killed the woman. Yesterday, investigators publicly recommended Brandy be charged with vehicular misdemeanor manslaughter without gross negligence. Paris Hilton took legal action yesterday to shut down parisexposed.com. The website hosts a collection of the socialite's private photos, videos, letters, bank statements, medical records and even her passport. In a federal lawsuit, Hilton says she put the items in a 6,000-sq-ft storage unit two years ago when she and her sister were moving house, and claims the moving company should have been paying the storage fees.
