Jessica's dad hopes for quick buck

Jessica Simpson's dad is working hard to make a buck for his daughter...or is it off his daughter? Sources say Simpson Sr. called at least two weekly magazines to offer them placement in Jessica's upcoming film. Simpson gave the mags the "opportunity" to have Jessica read their publication in a scene for a mere $10,000 to be paid by check made directly payable to Joe Simpson himself. A rep for the Simpsons confirms that there are product placement staff working on the film, but says there is "absolutely no truth" to the claims Joe Simpson will receive any direct payment.
